SASS provides two kinds of scholarships:

SASS Community College Application for Fall 2017

If you are taking classes during the fall, the deadline for completing the SASS application is Friday, August 4.

NEW STUDENTS: If this is the first time you are applying for a SASS scholarship, the application is here.

RETURNING STUDENTS: If you have applied for a SASS scholarship before, the application is here.

If you are an ESL student who attended Sequoia Adult School and need help completing the SASS application, contact Sequoia Adult School Transition Advisor Melissa Martinez (650-306-8866 ext. 77935, memartinez@seq.org).

If you are an ESL student who didn’t attend Sequoia Adult School and need help completing the SASS application, contact SASS Coordinator Tania Ventura (taniaventuraper@my.smccd.edu, 650-649-8883.)

If you are an HSE (High School Equivalency) student and need help completing the SASS application, contact Sequoia Adult School Transition Advisor Liliana Campos (650-306-8866 ext. 77905, lcampos@seq.org).

Application to Receive a SASS Tutor

If you’d like a SASS tutor for the fall semester, you must complete this application. If you have questions about the SASS tutoring program, contact SASS Coordinator Tania Ventura at taniaventuraper@my.smccd.edu or call her at 650-649-8883.

SASS Progress Reports, Fall 2017

As a SASS student you must ask your professor to complete a progress report for each of your classes except PE classes.

Fall Semester SASS Progress Reports: Cañada College, College of San Mateo and Skyline College

Give your professors a progress report the week of October 2nd. You must return all progress reports to Melissa, Diana, or Tania by Friday, October 6th.

Internet for Low Income Families

If you have children who participate in the free or reduced school lunch program, you can receive the Internet in your home for about $10 a month. For more information go to
